Great little library. If they don't have it, the great staff will try to get it for you from the main library, or help you find it as an e-book from another library. And for a smaller library they have a big selection of CDs and DVDs.
This library was very helpful to me. One librarian took the time to help me fill out job applications online. She helped me for way over an hour. If it was not for her, I would not have known what to do. I really appreciate all they did for me. Great experience.
Easy access to a large variety of materials. Great resource for videos too.
Worst service I have ever encountered at a library. The women who work there were rude. I attempted to pick up an application for employment. It took the librarian about three minutes of staring at me after I asked (verbatim) "May I please have an application for employment?" She stared at me and said, "...an appli...application...for employment?" A few minutes of us starting at each other (and me repeating 'application for employment' about five times) went by and she finally produced an application that read (at the top, in BIG, bold letters) APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT. She then proceeded to look me dead in the face with a rude sneer and says, "We're not hiring." I looked three inches to her right, there, sitting on the counter, right in front of my face was a big sign that had an ad for an opening at that library for a 40/week position. This has happened several times. I had applied there once before, walked in, handed the librarian at the desk (there were about four of them standing around and it still took around two minutes to get one's attention), she looked at me, said thanks, looked at the rest of the staff and they all burst out laughing. FANTASTIC service. I would advise going to the West Geauga branch if you live in the area. Their staff is more competent and a lot more patron-oriented.
